Isle of Wight Part 4

The countryside was really, really gorgeous! Miles and miles of just green pasture with cute fluffy cows and sheep wandering about and munching on grass. Lovely!

This was at the Needles, some coastal limestone cliffs. You could actually take these chairlifts down and walk along the coast. The chairlifts were kind of scary, but fun! :D

A pier.

I like the old postcard feel of this one. *too much fiddling around with PS*

Dude. The water? She was COLD. This guy was sauntering around in the water like nobody's business. But I think he was a geologist/geographer/someone scientific because I overheard him telling his wife that he was going back to the lab to test the water. Fun!

High Tide

Long-exposure wavey shot thingy.

Linda and me on the way up in the chairlifts.

Pretty berry things.

OMGSHEEP!! There were SO MANY adorable fluffy sheep on the cliffs! Eeee!

Me: *EEHEEHEEHEESHEEP*
Sheep: *ee crazy human. dude, lets go.*

A stile! How very Jane-Eyre.

The thing in the distance is a monument to Alfred Lord Tennyson. I fell more in love with the solitary bench in the middle of absolutely nowhere. :)

In Memory of Thomas Buxton Goodwin (1899-1969) To Live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.

The Tennyson Monument

In Memory of Alfred Lord Tennyson. This cross is raised a beacon to sailors by the people of Freshwater and other friends in England and America.

These berries when squeezed produced this clear gel-like sap which amused us to no end. :) *is three years old*

Man and dog. The dog looked just about as ancient as his owner.

KITTYKATYAY.

This is all there is from the Isle of Wight, folks! Watch this space for more photos, hopefully very very soon!
